Inabata Optotech Co., Ltd. was relaunched in 2002 after acquiring a business from a major European chemical manufacturer. Initially, we were fully occupied with business continuity, but now we are engaged in resin research and development, based at Kawasaki Science Park.

Our primary product used to be liquid epoxy resin for LED encapsulation, but we have now expanded into developing flattening agents for flat panel displays and heat-dissipating resins for power devices.

As a 100% subsidiary of Inabata & Co., Ltd. （listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market）, Inabata Optotech leverages Inabata’s global network to pursue research and development in new fields. Additionally, we always operate with solutions that put our customers first.

Company History

2002	July Business Acquisition Acquired LED encapsulant business from Henkel Japan Production started at contracted factory （Saitama）. Research center established.
2003	June Joint Development Began joint development with a manufacturer in Wakayama.
2008	March End of Joint Development August Research Center Relocation Moved to Setagaya. September Partial manufacturing equipment relocated from contracted factory （Saitama） to contracted factory （Kanagawa）.
2009	January Expansion　 Mass production started at contracted factory （Kanagawa）.
2012	February Expansion　 Mass production of release agents started at contracted factory （Thailand）.
2013	March Expansion　 Mass production of epoxy products started.
2017	April Expansion　 1500L reactor activated at contracted factory （Kanagawa）. May Company Established　 Inabata Optech Co., Ltd. was established.
